Graeme Hall

A dynamic, energetic, vastly experienced sales professional Graeme began his career as an engineer with what was then Thorn EMI before moving into sales in the way many people do – by complete accident!

Promoted quickly to sales management, under his leadership the sales revenues grew by 20% year-on-year for 3 years before Graeme switched industries to lead the sales and marketing operation at a division of Linde, selling to Tesco, ASDA, PC World and Focus Do-it-all. By changing the focus away from the technicalities and developing a service-based proposition, sales grew 100% in 3 years.

At this point, in 2000, Graeme set up Sales Blueprint to help a broader range of business benefit from this experience and the business now works exclusively with private equity-backed business across nearly every sector, both in Europe and the USA, providing advice, coaching and support to deliver typical sales improvements of 25%.

Simon Monk

Although he works across our entire methodology as our Lead Consultant, Simon has a particular expertise in the ‘Characterisation’ section of our 3 ‘C’ Model, bringing board level experience with sales and marketing technical expertise. Helping organisations understand their competitive position and then defining the most effective go-to-market strategy to exploit it is a key part of Simon’s contribution to sales improvement.

Prior to working with Sales Blueprint, Simon created shareholder value within an LDC private equity investment, an investment that exited above standard industry multiples over a 3 year term.

He is technology-led with hands-on expertise in process design, marketing automation and CRM best practice.

Andrew Stirrup

Andrew specialises in helping sales leaders understand how their teams tick and how to overcome the barriers to change. Backed by sixteen years of sales and account management experience across five industries, Andrew now works in the leadership and personal development arena. He heads up our coaching offer and delivers Sales Blueprint’s core training programmes as well as consulting on the psychology of performance, cultural change and team engagement.

Andrew is our behavioural profiling expert and delivers our sales recruitment assessment days. He is a Certified DiSC Trainer and Certified Genos International Practitioner in emotional intelligence.

Andrew coaches our clients how to think and behave differently in order to enhance their performance and spot more opportunity. He works closely with Sales Blueprint on larger scale projects and loves the variety that working in the PE space brings, most recently leading a full strategic review for a major client in the USA.

Richard Green

Richard Green is a chartered accountant and experienced private equity and venture capital investor. He joined Kleinwort Benson Development Capital Ltd in 1988 and was a founder in 2001 of the spin-out business which became August Equity LLP, where he was managing partner until 2009 and then chairman until his retirement in April 2014. He is a past chairman of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and is currently the non-executive chairman of Technology Venture Partners LLP and a non-executive director of Northern Venture Trust PLC, Hydrogen Group PLC and Qannas Investments Limited as well as being a member of the Advisory Board of North East Finance.

Richard kindly agreed to become an advisor to Sales Blueprint in 2017, helping shape product development and its wider private equity relationships.
